5,1 Western SBTC Propose

Reference the A3 List (Breed Specialists) Requirements - item b.

Proposed to replace the existing clause –

To have judged both sexes at either two Breed Club show or one Breed Club show and three Breed Club Supported Entry Shows

with :-

"To have judged both sexes, at a minimum of 3 breed club shows”.

5.2 Western SBTC Propose

See explanation below proposals

A) "That 2007 be accepted as the year when this current rotation commenced and that any future rota has a fair and even allocation, that no Club or Society should fall two shows behind another, in total accumulative allocation, in any one year, without written approval being received from that Club or Society agreeing to do so”.

We can except the rota proposed by Notts and Derby for the years 2023 & 2024, we would request that it be recorded that we have been on 14cc rotation since 2007. Rotation commenced when the four extra clubs were allocated CC status and not when Alyn & Deeside ceased to exist. Within this period, The SBTC, Northern Ireland & Northern Counties have received 2 sets of CCs` on their rota`d years off. There are clubs that have not received any, namely East Midlands, South Wales, Western, Southern Counties, Scottish, Merseyside & Morecambe Bay & Cumbria.

5.3 N&D SBTC Propose/2ndd SBTC

To put forward to the Kennel Club a proposed rotation for 2023 which follows on from the current rotation submitted and approved by the KC. A rotation for the year 2024 also be submitted for the KC consideration if the KC have not finalised the planned changes to CC allocations after 2023.

(See attached proposed rotation for club’s consideration)

5.4 EASBTC propose

That the Kennel Club record results of individual puppies via clinical litter eye screening on Kennel Club registration documents and on online health profiles (KC Health Tests Result Finder).

We understand that currently litter screening results are not routinely recorded although some individual breeders have contacted the KC to have results from their clinically tested litters added to their profiles. We would like to see this remedied and results recorded as routine across the board.
