A3 List (Specialist)
Criteria to be the same as to approve a Championship Show Judge.
* A minimum of 8yrs judging experience prior to the date of nomination and have the support of the SCSBTS.
* Judged a minimum of 250 dogs (actual).
* Judged at least 100 classes of SBT’s with exhibits present in each class.
* 50 of the classes to have been judged outside a 50-mile radius of home town.
* Judged at least 3 Breed Club Shows.
* Judged each sex at Breed Club level.
*To have bred and/or owned at least three dogs that have obtained an entry in the KC Stud Book. (Save in exceptional circumstances). (KC Policy).
* Stewarded a minimum of 12 days at shows. (KC Policy)
KC seminar requirements (as at 1/7/2001).
1. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the relevant examination on the Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures.
2. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on Conformation & Movement.
3. To have attended at least one breed specific seminar run in accordance with Kennel Club Code of best Practice and pass an examination and/or Assessment where applicable.
4. To have attended a Conformation and Movement 'Hands On' Assessment conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment. (1/7/2005)
A3 List (Non Specialist)
* To have judged a minimum of 100 classes of Staffordshire Bull Terriers with exhibits actually present in each class.
*Judged a minimum of two separate Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club or Society Breed Club Shows.
*Judged each sex at Breed Club show level
* To have judged a minimum of 250 Staffordshire Bull Terriers (actual)
* A minimum of 8yrs judging experience in the Breed and have the support of a Breed Club
* To have judged Staffordshire Bull Terriers with evidence of an adequate geographical spread of appointments of which a minimum of 50 classes to be not less than 40 miles from home town
* To have awarded CC's in at least one other KC recognised Breed
* To have attended a minimum of three Staffordshire Bull Terrier judging seminars and passed a minimum of one assessment on Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
B List (KC Level 2):
All persons must meet the following criteria and who have the support of the SCSBTS.
For Specialist and Non Specialist.
To meet all the C List (KC Level 1) requirements plus the following:
a. To have a minimum of 4 years judging experience of Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
b. To have judged a minimum of 25 classes of Staffordshire Bull Terriers with exhibits present in each class.
c. To have judged a minimum of 4 Kennel Club recognised shows.
d. To have judged a minimum of 60 dogs (actual)
e. To have attended at least 1 Breed Specific Seminar run in accordance with Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable.
f. Take and pass Requirements of a Dog Show Judge examination. (KC Policy).
g. To have undertaken and passed a Points of the Dog assessment conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer. (KC Policy)
h. To be a member of the Kennel Club Academy.
i. View ring stewarding seminar and take online quiz. (KC Policy)
j. Complete critique writing seminar and take online quiz. (KC Policy)

* 50 of the classes to have been judged outside a 50-mile radius of home town.
* Judged at least 3 Breed Club Shows.
* Judged each sex at Breed Club level.
*To have bred and/or owned at least three dogs that have obtained an entry in the KC Stud Book. (Save in exceptional circumstances). (KC Policy).
* Stewarded a minimum of 12 days at shows. (KC Policy)
KC seminar requirements (as at 1/7/2001).
1. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the relevant examination on the Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures.
2. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on Conformation & Movement.
3. To have attended at least one breed specific seminar run in accordance with Kennel Club Code of best Practice and pass an examination and/or Assessment where applicable.
4. To have attended a Conformation and Movement 'Hands On' Assessment conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment. (1/7/2005)

* A minimum of 8yrs judging experience in the Breed and have the support of a Breed Club
* To have judged Staffordshire Bull Terriers with evidence of an adequate geographical spread of appointments of which a minimum of 50 classes to be not less than 40 miles from home town
* To have awarded CC's in at least one other KC recognised Breed
* To have attended a minimum of three Staffordshire Bull Terrier judging seminars and passed a minimum of one assessment on Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
B List (KC Level 2):

f. Take and pass Requirements of a Dog Show Judge examination. (KC Policy).
g. To have undertaken and passed a Points of the Dog assessment conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer. (KC Policy)
h. To be a member of the Kennel Club Academy.
i. View ring stewarding seminar and take online quiz. (KC Policy)
