Another very enjoyable show which was well supported. Whilst the entry was not large the quality was sufficient to make both our judges Brian Speed and Gina Jones think about their placings. Both Brian, seen in the picture receiving his gift from the Society's President Joe Samby & Gina enjoyed their day with the Society and we would like to thank them both for their efforts. No show can be successful without the exhibitors entering and spectators coming along to support the show and our thanks go to those that attended. Lastly, thank you to the band of helpers who came along to help set up the show. We hope to see lots of you at the Championship Show in October. 

RESULTS


I would like to thank the committee of Southern Counties Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society for asking me to judge their open show. I would like to congratulate them on a well-run show. I would also like to thank my ring stewards who kept things moving in such an orderly fashion, also a big thank you to the exhibitors for bringing their dogs for me to look at and for accepting my decisions in such a sporting manner.
You will find no mention of bite or dentition in my critique as I only found one fault. There will be plenty of mention of wide fronts bone and depth of chest as this an important part of the standard.

Blk/br with a beautiful head darkest of eyes and neat ears giving that typical stafford expression, powerful neck flowing into strong well laid shoulders good wide front with lots of bone, good depth of chest and bend of rib. Level topline held on the move powerful rear quarters good bend of stifle moved with drive and purpose show in good fit condition. I am sure this dog will have a bright future both here and in Australia pleased to award him BD & BIS

Blk /br with a beautiful feminine head dark eyes and neat ears, strong neck flowing into well laid and well-muscled shoulders lots of bone with a good wide front depth of chest and spring of rib. level topline which she held on the move strong rear quarters and a good bend of stifle helping her to move with purpose and drive. Overall  a class act shown in good fit condition

10 month red and white with a nice head shape dark eye and neat ears good wide front with plenty of bone good depth of chest and enough rib for age. nice neck flowing into well laid shoulders good level topline and nice bend of stifle overall a nice puppy who moved well once settled.

7yr Blk/Br dog with a strong masculine head with dark eyes and neat ears. Powerful neck flowing into strong well laid shoulders good wide front. With plenty of bone, good depth of chest and bend of rib. Level topline which he kept on the move, strong rear quarters and good bend of stifle shown in super fit condition moved well.
Pleased to award him BVD, RBD and BVIS
