Special Awards Classes

Judge: Mrs Viv Batten (Kernowstaff)
I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge their Special Award classes at the clubs 80th Anniversary open Show and also the ring stewards for all the hard work they do.
Also thanks for the lovely lunch which was provided for us, we had a lovely day.
I would also like to thank very much everyone who entered the special classes , it was a privilege to judge your dogs.
Special Awards Puppy Dog or Bitch. 2 entries
1st. Rowe & South's "Illori Believe in Me".Bitch 8 Months Black/Brindle. Lovely feminine bitch, good head shape, neat ears, dark eyes, correct bite. Body developing well, with level top line, good bend of stifle, lovely condition. Showed and moved very well for a youngster.
.2nd. Hammonds "Hammystaff Scarlet Witch". Bitch 7 Months Red. Not much between these two bitches, another feminine bitch which is nice to see. Nice shaped head set off with rose ears, dark eye, correct bite, nice front. Good coat condition, moved well, level topline, just a little bit behind the first placed bitch. She needs to settle in the Ring.Special Award Open Dog or Bitch. 12 entries, 1abs.
1st. Rowe & South's "Illori Akinlana" JW ShCM. Dog 2¾ years. This dog caught my eye, he has ring presence, well balanced when viewed from every angle. Excellent head shape, with dark round eye, straight front, neat feet good bite. Level topline while standing and on the move. Handler got the best from this dog.
2nd. Gardner's "Labrastaff Curious George". Dog 4 years. Another nice dog, nice head shape correct bite, well boned front with neat feet. Level topline. Moved well.
3rd. Hopkins "Trufflestaff Papinashvash" JW..
