Alabama Rot

Hi all

I don't know if you've already heard of this disease, but I just opened the internet, and this was a leading headline on the opening page so I thought I would let you know.  It was first diagnosed in Alabama in the 1800's but has seen a resurgence and is now in the UK. It seems to be spreading and is incurable.

I have notified Archie Bryden as BC Health Co-ordinator for him to check it out but, if it is as serious, rampant and incurable as the articles say we should not waste any time in alerting people to the dangers.

This is a link about Alabama Rot which includes a map of confirmed cases and lots of other useful pictures, information, and links.  I've never heard if it before, but it has been in the news recently as there have been several recent cases and there was a Conference in Reading on Alabama Rot today.
